Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best Bauer Report to protect my church, my school's scholarship funds or another non-profit?
For safety reasons, some states (like Florida's Tax Credit Scholarship, Family Empowerment Scholarship (also known as the Gardiner Scholarship), the John M. McKay Scholarship and the Hope Scholarship) require schools that participate in educational scholarship programs, to obtain reviews on the institutions chosen to hold those funds. Whether your state requires this type of Due Diligence or not, it is in the school's best interest to ensure those funds are deposited in a strong, federally-insured depository. To that end, Bauer recommends either its Summary Report or Highlights Report be reviewed at least annually.
These reports are also used by Churches and other non-profits to ensure the money they are in charge of is in a strong institution. Another popular choice for non-profits is Bauer's Due Diligence Performance Report.
